Terms & conditions
Last updated: October 27th, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Austin Avenue Enterprises LLC, doing business as Austin Avenue Apps ("we," "us"), and govern your use of the Caddie Eye mobile app on iOS and Android (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Caddie Eye is currently available only in the United States and Canada.
What Caddie Eye does
Caddie Eye analyzes videos of your golf swing on your device and provides measurements, visualizations and coaching feedback. Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information.
Free and Pro access
Free: Anyone can use Caddie Eye for free and receive 4 swing analyses per calendar month. Your free analyses reset on the 1st of each month, based on your device's date. Unused free analyses do not roll over to the next month.
Pro: A Pro subscription or the Lifetime purchase gives you unlimited swing analyses and access to Caddie Eye's Pro features.
We may add, change or remove features over time, including which features are part of Free or Pro, as we improve the App.
Plans and pricing
Pro is available as:
Weekly: $6.99 per week, renews automatically
Monthly: $14.99 per month, renews automatically
Quarterly: $39.99 every 3 months, renews automatically
Lifetime: $149.99, a one-time purchase with no renewals
What "Lifetime" means: Lifetime gives you Pro access for as long as we continue to offer and support Caddie Eye. It refers to the lifetime of the App, not your lifetime or the lifetime of any particular device. Pro features may change, be improved or be retired over time, and Lifetime includes whatever Pro features are available at any given time. If we discontinue the App, Lifetime access ends. If that happens within 12 months of your Lifetime purchase, contact us and we'll help you get a prorated refund where Apple or Google allows it.
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may be shown in your local currency (for example, Canadian dollars) by Apple or Google, along with any applicable taxes. The price you are charged is the one shown in the App at the time of purchase. If we change the price of a subscription, you'll be notified in advance by Apple or Google as their policies require, and the new price will apply only at your next renewal.
Billing and automatic renewal
All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on your device, and are charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account will be charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your purchases are tied to your App Store or Google Play account. If you reinstall the App or switch to a new device on the same platform, you can use "Restore Purchases" in the App to regain access.
Purchases don't transfer between platforms. Because Caddie Eye has no user accounts, a purchase made through the App Store works only on Apple devices signed in to that Apple Account, and a purchase made through Google Play works only on Android devices signed in to that Google account. Purchases can't be moved, shared or restored across iOS and Android.
Cancelling
There are no contracts. You can cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings:
iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions
Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
When you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. After that, your account returns to the Free plan. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
Refunds
Subscriptions: You can request a refund of your current billing period, no questions asked. Earlier billing periods are non-refundable. If your current period is refunded, your Pro access ends and your account returns to the Free plan. Email support@caddieeye.com and we'll help you get a refund.
Lifetime: Refunds for the Lifetime purchase are available if you request one within 30 days of your purchase date. After 30 days, Lifetime purchases are non-refundable.
Because payments are processed by Apple and Google, refunds are issued through them. For App Store purchases, Apple makes the final decision on refunds, and we'll point you to Apple's refund request page (reportaproblem.apple.com) and help however we can. For Google Play purchases, we can issue the refund directly. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund rights you have under the policies of Apple or Google or under applicable consumer protection law.
Not professional instruction; your safety
Caddie Eye provides general information about your golf swing for entertainment and self-improvement purposes. It is not a substitute for instruction from a qualified golf professional, and it is not medical, physical therapy or fitness advice. Measurements and feedback are estimates and may be inaccurate.
Golf and practicing your swing involve physical activity and some risk of injury. You are responsible for warming up, practicing within your physical limits, and making sure your surroundings are safe when you swing and when you record video. Consult a doctor before starting any new physical activity if you have concerns about your health.
Your content
You keep all rights to the videos you choose to analyze. Your videos and analysis stay on your device, and we don't receive them. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use any video you analyze, including the permission of anyone else who appears in it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code or models of the App, except where the law expressly allows it
Circumvent or interfere with the App's purchase, usage-limit or security features
Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
Resell, rent or redistribute the App or access to Pro features
Our intellectual property
The App, including its software, design, text, graphics and the Caddie Eye name and logo, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, as permitted by these Terms and the usage rules of the App Store or Google Play.
Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We don't guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that its analysis will be accurate or improve your game.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF DATA OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions, including some Canadian provinces, do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
Ending your use
You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it (remember to cancel any active subscription first). We may suspend or end your access if you materially violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability, continue after your use ends.
Apple App Store terms
If you downloaded the App from Apple's App Store, you also agree that:
These Terms are between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App.
If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and resolving any claim that the App infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo, and you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the App.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
If you downloaded the App from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your purchase.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If you live in Canada, you may also have rights under the laws of your province that cannot be limited by contract, and these Terms do not affect those rights.
Dispute resolution
Talk to us first. Most problems can be solved quickly. Before starting any formal claim, please email support@caddieeye.com with a description of the issue, and give us 60 days to try to resolve it informally.
Arbitration (United States). If you live in the United States and we can't resolve a dispute informally, you and we agree to resolve it through final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Arbitration may be conducted by video or phone, or in the county where you live.
No class actions (United States). To the extent permitted by law, you and we agree to bring claims only on an individual basis, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding.
Opting out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@caddieeye.com within 30 days of first using the App, with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out."
Canada. The arbitration and class-action waiver terms above do not apply to you if you live in Canada, including Quebec, to the extent applicable consumer protection law prohibits them. You keep any right to bring a claim in the courts of your province.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the App. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
General
Feedback. If you send us ideas, suggestions or other feedback about the App, we may use it freely without any obligation or compensation to you.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the App.
Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of the App.
No waiver. If we don't enforce part of these Terms right away, we can still enforce it later.
